Iphone Tips and Tricks

- After jailbreak, you have to install Cydia and installous



- Install Installous from Cydia by add repository cydia.hackulo.us at cydia
- Installous apps use for install cracked IPA files
- Cydia contain free and paid applications using deb package
- Installous contain free and cracked applications using IPA package
- Itunes backup will not backup Cydia apps, but only Installous apps (not tested)
- Cydia apps can be backup using pkgbackup apps
- There are two method to install deb package
> Using Terminal apps, execute "su -" then enter. Insert your root password then cd to where you save your deb package. Then execute "dpkg -i deb_package.deb" or "dpkg -i /path/to/deb_pakage/deb_package.deb" (without double quote)
> Copy the deb package to folder /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall/ then restart your iphone
- To uninstall deb package, use cydia or from Terminal apps, "dpkg -r /path/to/deb_package/deb_package.deb" (but this will leave config file, to remove all files use --purge without -r)
- OSX Itunes will save backup files on folder /Users/Your_user_name/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
- Print screen, press power & home button at the same time
